Prince Sashtan
A novel by me. Aged eight. (Or possibly nine!)

Chapter 10
"It's all over now."

Sashtan walked in, dressed in flowing robes [and] with a crown on his head.

Chris and Joan walked over to Tandar who said:

"Climb on my back."

As they did so, Tandar ran, picking up more speed every minute and it wasn't long until they reached the pebbly valley that Chris had arrived in. The children climbed off and Tandar ran faster than the speed of light, throwing stones and dust at them which soon turned into a yellow mist which engulfed them completely.

They were torn apart from each other and landed dizzily in the same place that they had come from. And then Chris went to play with his friends.

They never knew how they arrived [back] only a second after they had left. In school, Joan winked at Chris as if to say:

"Oh well ... It's all over now!"
