Chapter 1
The Black Avenger goes to Tishma
Christopher, I think I'll call him Chris, Blanard sat sewing in an armchair.
You might think it girlish to sew but as Chris said, "it all depends on what you're sewing." Chris was sewing a red, gold and black suit with a mask and cloak. You see Chris loved super-heroes and drew lots of them. At the moment he was making the costume of a super-hero that he had made up called "The Black Avenger". The only weapon that the Black Avenger had was a bright red sword with a black handle.
Chris made three other costumes for his friends to wear. They were the costumes of others he had made up. They were called "Midnight Lightning", who was the Black Avenger's super-hero partner, Speed King and Flash Light who were super criminals.
When they were finished Chris took them to his friends and they dressed up in them so that they could play super heroes but a strange thing happened because when Chris put on his uniform his body tingled and his strength grew until he could feel that he was growing stronger. Chris waited until the tingling had stopped and looked around him. Everything was the same except that a cupboard, two chairs and a table had disappeared. Chris, puzzled and half frightened, went over to his mask. He picked it up and felt more tingling shoot into his hand.
Chris put on his mask and immediately was caught in a mist and swirled round and round until soon he rose from the ground. When he landed he found himself in a valley of cobbly stones with mountains rising on each side. He looked at himself and he was still dressed as the Black Avenger holding the wooden red sword, except ... It wasn't wooden it was metal.
