What seemed funny to a teenager back in the 1970s doesn't necessarily seem nearly so witty thirty-plus years later. Two lines on this page still tickle my funny-bone, though ...

The first is Doctor McPloy's little aside: "Speaking medically, it's a shambles." I really should have made more of the good doctor's wry observations - definitely a missed opportunity!

And the second is Spok's recovery: "Well, it's possible no-one has ever so insulted a vulture, either." I don't know why I find that funny - there's obviously still something of the teenager in me somewhere!
