I don't think I have any great insights to add about this page. We've all seen mistaken identity gags before!

The thing that impresses me most after all these years is the fact that the Roman legionnaires not only have very distinct faces but also different uniforms. I'd love to be able to say I'd researched this and that they were historically accurate for the time but I honestly can't remember. I suspect I was just lucky enough to have found reference images with more than one uniform.

For all I know now, they may even belong to totally different centuries (no pun intended!)
