Fans of Shades are a creative bunch. And, whilst I'm sure you don't need any convincing, these sketches prove exactly that!

You may remember that, in Chapter 6, Stan had reluctantly taken Becky, Ryan and Craig to his workshop and was measuring them up for their new costumes. Now some comics' fans would content themselves with wondering what those new costumes might look like. But not Shades fans!

No - you guys take it a step further and help Stan to design them!

These sketches are by Lemniskate who runs a number of comics over at Drunk Duck, including Beneficially Challenged which takes a very different look at the relationships between super heroes and their powers.

He describes the first design for Ryan as "Transformer-ish", while the second is obviously more streamlined. The swirly lines on Becky's surcoat are there to represent the wind forces she can control. Cool, huh?!
