Now, I know what you're thinking - this painting looks pretty cool, right? Hah! You ain't seen nothin' yet!

This is merely a work-in-progress. Of course, I use the word "merely" in a purely relative sense since, as you can see, even unfinished it looks pretty spetacular!

What you're looking at is an early version of the painted cover for Issue 2 of Lee Munday's frighteningly funny slice-of-life comic, The Lumbering Dead.

You've probably already seen the line art for this cover (we've had it here in our "Previews and workshop" section for some time) but, if you haven't, do make sure you click on that link there and take a peek ... it gives a fascinating glimpse into the way Lee puts his masterpieces together.

But, you know what? We've got another treat in store for you, too! Vote for our flagship comic Shades by clicking on those three buttons at the top (or bottom) of this page and - when you confirm your vote at TWC - you'll see the final version of this page ... fully painted and looking even more superb than it does here!

What more could you ask? Well, you could ask to start reading Issue 2 but, on that one, I'm afraid we're going to have to keep you waiting just a little longer. Lee is hard at work, though, and so just try to be patient and, while you're waiting, vote for us often. I mean ... you know you want another glimpse of that wonderful finished artwork, right?!
