This is another great "work-in-progress" page by Fabrizio Pacitti for Issue 2 of The Spires.

He's completed a number of pencilled pages already for this project, some of those have been inked and one or two have even been coloured and lettered. The finished version of this particular page is online now, so you can see see exactly how it fits into the story here.

As for the characters here, if you've read the comic so far you'll already be familiar with Boone and Jeste and you won't be at all surprised to see a little carrian action going down. (Of course, if you haven't read Issue 1 yet, you really should go and read it now!)

The new character in Panel 2 is a talir (or Outsider) named Brel. Obviously I don't want to say too much about him (just in case you're about to go and read the story now!) but he looks like a pretty dynamic sort, right? Well, with all those carrian around, you can't live out on the roofs of the Spires and not learn something about self-preservation!
