I know nothing about Aberdovey. I assume, since it's mentioned here, that it was somewhere we did actually visit and I have no reason to believe it's not an absolutely wonderful place. Go there. Send me a postcard and let me know what it's like.

The slur on Lynne Austen's driving in Panel 1 is totally fabricated. She could not, in fact, get the minibus to fly.

Although I do remember that she did admit to being "night-blind" which was not the most comforting of confessions since much of the driving was indeed after dark and frequently high up in the Welsh hillsides, along roads clearly designed for (and possibly by) itinerant sheep rather than a minibus.

Ah well ... I survived to tell the tale. Or at least to invent one.
