What can I say about this page? Ummm - given the crude tools with which these old masterpieces were fashioned, that's quite a nice water effect in Panel 1, I suppose.
Oh, and there's a clearer picture of Mick (left) and Joe (right) in Panel 3. Joe is modelling a bizarre fashion item which you're probably too young to remember. For some reason it was called a tank top and it was essentially a knitted jumper without sleeves. Why they became so popular, I shall never know. Maybe there was a global wool shortage or something. Anyway, they were all the rage back then and, whilst some of us had the good sense to resist the urge to pull one on, Joe used to wear them. Well, we all make mistakes when we're young!
I'm not quite sure what Mick is wearing. Some kind of belted jacket apparently. I don't remember him having a belted jacket but I guess he must have had. As for me, I'm still sporting the smiley badge you may remember from DajbDevil and The House That Drac Built. I'm beginning to think that badge was angling for a starring role in a comic of its own!
