I'm not sure if the scene in Panel 1 is a sunset or a sunrise. The mixing of the red and blue ballpoint pens, though, is rather unusual in these old stories of mine. Maybe I was feeling especially artistic the day I drew this page!

Panel 2 has a lot of irrelevant stuff going on, so I'll let you make your own notes on those. (The fish is probably my favourite!) I have a vague recollection that "List this nature trail under Commandos, for the use of ..." may have been an actual quote from Bomber. It's the kind of thing he would have said, I'm sure!

Meanwhile, it's time we introduced the two characters standing on the right in Panel 3. They first appeared on Page 2 but I forgot to mention them there and I really should. Mick (who we shall continue to call Mick since this story doesn't disclose his surname anywhere) and Joe (who we shall continue to call Joe since that wasn't his real name anyway) were two of my closest friends back in those halcyon school days. Well, not these fictional characters obviously, but their real-life equivalents. I mean, come on - I wasn't that sad!
