This page is from the comic Off Hours. The premise behind the comic is that webcomics are essentially TV shows and that the characters in them are therefore played by actors. Those "actors" are then shown doing what they do when they're not "on-screen"!

In this case, Stan from our very own Shades is not shown as an actor but as a waiter in the restaurant of a mountain resort where some of the actors are holidaying.
