As in DajbDevil, yes, that central character there is meant to be me. Sadly, I probably looked very much like that too. (I do now!)

At the time I made this comic, the PC hadn't yet evolved even to the point of being a glint in Bill Gates' eye and we D-I-Y comickers made do with anything we could find - nuts, bolts, discarded shoes ... you get the picture. I fashioned this story out of a school book and two ballpoint pens - one blue and one red.

That was all well and good at the time but, over the years, the red ink has bled (no pun intended!) through the page in one or two places, making it difficult to read whatever was on the other side of the page. Here, I've conducted a little crude surgery in Photoshop in order to make the caption in Panel 1 legible again.

Tempting though it was, I resisted the urge to change the text at the same time, so you're seeing this exactly as it was originally conceived in my fevered teenage imagination.
