Looking back on these pages now, I'm struck by a number of things.

Yes, the jokes are bad (though maybe not much worse than currently grace the wonderful world of web comics!) but there are also some nice touches I'd completely forgotten about. Did you notice the badge in the last panel? The way the smiley became a frownie? I think that's cool.

Of course, I'm still only fifteen or sixteen at heart, so I'm easily impressed!

And here we have our hero's origin story - part Green Lantern and part Captain Marvel. Well, every hero needs a role model!

Oh, and I really did hate Coronation Street. Still do. The mother and father of all TV soaps - it has sooo much to answer for!
