Yes, that's me aged, oh, I don't know - fifteen or sixteen or something. Hmmm - if you compare that caricature with the recent avatar drawn for me by Oscar Cavazos, you'd think I hadn't changed that much in the last few decades ... if only that were true!

The blue lines across the page are because (in case you hadn't guessed) this is drawn in a school exercise book - times were hard back then!

Snoopy makes an appearance because, well, I like Snoopy (doesn't everyone?) and the number 12 at the bottom of the page is because there were 11 pages before this one (duh!). But they have nothing to do with this story.

The poor jokes are because (as mentioned earlier) I was fifteen or sixteen at the time which means, of course, there'll be more of those later ... you have been warned!

And, yes, 24 September is my real birthday. Presents are always welcome.
