An odd page to write, this one. On the one hand there's a little more backstory to be filled (all that talk about freelance assassins!) while, on the other, we're starting to set the scene for Issue 2. It's part epilogue for this issue and part prologue for the next.

I do like Fabrizio's treatment of Jeste in the final two panels, though. In Panel 5, her rummaging in the folds of her cape reminds me so much of Batman (always a good thing as far as I'm concerned!) while in Panel 6, the focus on the syringe is exactly as I'd imagined it!
