I know I've mentioned before that this chapter was not in the early drafts of the script for Shades. Much of the conversation between Dominion and Bedlam did appear elsewhere but the scenes in Stan's workshop (like this one) didn't.

The reason I inserted them was that - whilst the bad guys always had a reason for doing what they were doing - I felt that the good guys sometimes seemed to show up, rather fortuitously, at the right place and at the right time to try to stop them. Logically, they must have sat down together at some stage and tried to guess where (and why!) Bedlam would strike next but, since we didn't always see them doing that brainstorming, their arrival on the scene occasionally felt a little ... "coincidental"!

Anyway, here they are chewing the cud and trying to get to the bottom of it all. How they can be so engrossed in their discussion when there's all that wonderful background detail to admire is beyond me! ;-)
