One of the big problems in posting a long-form comic like Shades on the web is the long time that can pass between reading pages. If you were reading this in book form, you'd probably have read that information less than half an hour ago. As it is, it's probably been some months since you read about Doug's "transformation".

I hadn't thought about it before but I think this is the first page where we see our three main heroes (Boo, Doug and the Shaman) together. I guess those plot threads really must be converging at last!
