You don't need me to tell you. One look at the swathes of black ink across the sky and under the portico in this stunning shot of the British Museum will tell you ... Harsho is a big Mike Mignola fan!
What's more surprising is that Harsho is based in India, several thousand miles from London and yet he successfully captures not just the outward appearance of the museum but also its aura of solidity, permanence and strength.
"Shades" is not just a story set in Britain. It's also a story about Britain. To underline that fact, many of the chapters begin with a shot of a famous landmark, just like this one. I send Harsho whatever reference pictures I can find for these scenes but I never cease to be amazed that someone who's never been to Britain can capture it so well!
