Want to know know what it is (apart from his courage, obviously!) that makes Doug different from thee and me? It's all in Panel 6. Want to know how he got that way? Try Panels 5, 7 and 8.

Of course, this is all just theory. Even Stan's old friend Brain Storm didn't know everything. Wait until we get to the next page and you might just find that the Shaman has a different explanation all together!

Until then, just enjoy Harsho's wonderful artwork. Some of these B&W pages are so evocative, it almost makes me sorry that the rest of the book is in colour!
