Meet feral Leni - all claws and teeth, with strength and agility you just wouldn't believe. That's vampires for you!

Kyri tried several designs for "vampire-mode Leni". We were concerned that she should look capable of being vicious but without losing too much of the innocence and vulnerability which had defined her until now. We were looking for a "cute unless threatened" look - not easy to pull off but I think Kyri nailed it!

Incidentally, Leni's description of her transformation as being like having a "dark fire" inside her was not only an attempt to get away from the common idea of having a wild animal inside. At one point in its development, I was considering "Dark Fire" as a possible title for the comic. I've kind of got used to "Hunted" since then!
