So ... now you know what happens if a vampire doesn't get its daily quota of blood (and why Leni was carrying a supply around with her in little phials!)

The problem with planning this story over several issues was deciding when to have Leni first go through the transformation into her "vampire form". Seen as a whole, this is quite early on in the story but, seen as a single issue, this is quite near the end.

The solution, I decided, was to put it here (which, story-wise, is exactly where I think it should be!) but to ensure that the lead-in with Josef had enough vampire-hunting action to keep the reader's interest until we got here. I hope it worked!

As far as the art is concerned, there's so much to enjoy here. Kyri's page-layout is again terrific and the silhouettes in the centre make such a dramatic contrast with the close-up shots of Leni's transformation. Damn, I wish I could draw!
